AMY KAPLER
6/17/88 – 9/13/08
This page is dedicated to my sister, Amy Kapler.

Amy was diagnosed with an extremely rare form of liver cancer (Fibrolamellar Hepatocellular Carcinoma) in June of 2007. Over the next year she fought pain and nausea, lost weight, lost strength, underwent a myriad of procedures, and finally ran out of energy. Physically, she became a shell of what she once was. However, as far as personality goes, she was Amy to the very end. Anyone who knew her, knows what I mean.
Amy should have been in her junior year here at Iowa State. Hard to believe.

Hi Adam, just seem to keep coming back to this page. I’m sure you miss her so, as we all do. You were always looking out for her, even when she was just a little sprout. I’m sure she’s looking out for you now. Keep on keepin’ on! luv, gram
